Were looking for a hardworking caring Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant to join our warm and welcoming Rototuna village team. This role is all about making sure our residents feel comfortable safe and truly at home.

As a Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant youll be a key part of creating a clean uplifting and homelike environment for residents their whānau and fellow team members.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Ensuring high-quality cleaning across resident rooms bathrooms communal areas laundry and kitchen facilities
• Laundering folding and returning residents clothing and linens with care and attention
• Labelling mending and maintaining residents personal laundry items
• Supporting infection control measures and health and safety procedures
• Building friendly respectful relationships with residents and understanding their unique needs

This is a casual role. Working on as and when basis.

Qualifications :

Youll be a great fit if you:

• You have experience in housekeeping ideally in healthcare or hospitality
• Take pride in your work and care about the small details
• Are physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
• Have a genuine interest in aged care (no experience necessary full training provided)
