Junior Product Data Scientist, Q-Commerce (TheyHeShe)

YOUR MISSION

As a part of the data organization you will work to ensure customers have an excellent experience when ordering through the Glovo app. You will work on problems related to recommendations operational efficiency customer retention and more. You will be responsible for nurturing a strong experimentation culture work on discoveries that drive the product roadmap and build solutions that impact millions of customers.

THE JOURNEY

Be part of a team where you will: 

• Leverage advanced statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to solve for product and business problems that drive the highest impact.

• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to define the product roadmap and strategy monitor and give visibility of product metrics and KPIs.

• Drive product discovery formulate data-driven hypotheses and convert them into analysis and actionable insights.

• Own analytics tasks end to end in the product development cycle: from ideation and opportunity sizing to experimentation and post-launch impact analyses.

• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders acting as a strategic and supportive link between the technology business and product.

Qualifications :

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of professional experience in a quantitative analysis role or a recent Masters/Ph.D. with relevant project or internship experience.

• A higher education in a scientific discipline such as Physics Statistics Computer Science Mathematics or Economics.

• Foundational understanding of digital product development and an eagerness to work with diverse stakeholders.

• Demonstrable foundational experience applying statistical methods to generate actionable insights and drive decision-making.

• Solid theoretical understanding in at least one area of advanced analytics or Machine Learning (e.g. statistical inference causal inference supervised/unsupervised learning time series analysis).

• Strong proficiency in SQL and statistical programming (Python) with practical experience using data science libraries (e.g. Pandas SciPy Jupyter/iPython notebooks).

• Foundational knowledge and/or project experience in designing and analyzing digital experiments (A/B test multivariate etc).

• Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau Looker or PowerBI.

• Excellent spoken and written English.
