Project Engineer, Civil
Job Summary
- Lead the design and execution of civil engineering projects including roads bridges buildings and water systems.
- Develop project plans schedules and budgets ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Coordinate with stakeholders including clients contractors and regulatory bodies to align project goals.
- Prepare and review engineering designs drawings and specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies site investigations and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with local and international engineering standards codes and regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers technicians and other team members.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve complex engineering challenges.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits inspections and audits.
- Identify and resolve construction issues promptly.
- Integrate sustainable practices and innovative solutions into project designs.
- Evaluate the environmental impact of projects and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare detailed reports presentations and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project records including contracts permits and progress reports.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on design and project management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale reclamation/offshore/marine and coastal projects.
- Experience with marine/coastal structures ground improvement design and settlement/soil-structure interaction modelling.
- Track record on large integrated reclamation or coastal resilience programs.
- Strong grasp of geotechnical and coastal processes
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
