Care Assistant Weekends

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our weekend team in Leigh United Kingdom. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults by providing personalized unhurried care in their own homes during weekends.

• Provide personal care assistance including mobility support bathing and grooming
• Prepare nutritious meals and beverages to meet individual dietary needs and preferences
• Maintain a clean safe and organized living environment for clients
• Offer companionship through conversation activities and emotional support
• Assist with basic health-related tasks such as medication reminders and monitoring (training provided)
• Support clients with light housekeeping duties and daily living activities
• Document care provided by using our secured password protected app
• Travel between client homes within the Leigh and surrounding area to provide consistent weekend coverage
• Respond to client needs with patience empathy and professionalism
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain confidentiality at all times

Qualifications :

• Legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom
• Valid full driving license with access to reliable personal transportation
• Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
• Compassionate and caring personality with genuine interest in helping others
• Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
• Strong reliability and punctuality particularly for weekend scheduling commitments
• Ability to work independently while following established care protocols
• Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and weekend schedules
• Willingness to complete background checks and obtain DBS clearance
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in home care settings
• Previous care experience preferred but not required - comprehensive training provided
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and client dignity
