Senior MEP Manager

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiasticindividualto oversee and direct the mechanical electrical and plumbing aspects of construction projects from conception to completion. This professional will be responsible for coordinating and supervising MEP systems installation developing and executing MEP strategies and ensuring integration with overall construction plans. 

The MEP Construction Manager will review project designs and specifications schedule deliverables estimate costs and manage subcontractors and staff. They will also ensure compliance with building codes safety regulations and quality standards while maximizing value mitigating risks and maintaining the clients reputation. 

Job Description 

• Lead and manage MEP design coordination and execution of the project 

• Review and validate MEP drawings specifications and BOQs; ensure alignment with project requirements and local codes. 

• Coordinate with architects structural engineers contractors and vendors for seamless integration of MEP systems. 

• Prepare and monitor project schedules budgets and resource plans for MEP works. 

• Conduct site inspections quality checks and ensure adherence to safety standards. 

• Manage procurement and installation of MEP equipment and materials. 

• Oversee testing commissioning and handover of MEP systems. 

• Identify and resolve technical issues value engineering opportunities and design conflicts. 

• Liaise with clients consultants and authorities for approvals and compliance. 

• Prepare progress reports documentation and maintain project records. 

• Lead thedesign reviewinstallation andcommissioningof MEP systems across all project phases. 

• Approve and sign off on all MEP-related construction plans and decisions. 

• Ensure MEP designs meetstatutorycontractual andsafetyrequirements. 

• Identify and managedesign changesandvariationsrelated to MEP scope. 

• Implement and enforce theproject quality planfor MEP works. 

• Resolve technical queries and disputes related to MEP documentation and execution. 

• Conduct and monitordesign safety risk assessmentsfor MEP systems. 

• Coordination & Communication 

• Collaborate witharchitectsstructural engineers andgeneral contractorsto ensure seamless integration of MEP systems. 

• Provide technical input toconstruction schedulesbudgets andprocurement plans. 

• Supportengineeringoperations andmaintenance teamson MEP-related issues. 

• Communicate effectively withclientsinspectors andspecialiststo ensure clarity and compliance. 

• Hire manage and superviseMEP subcontractorsandsite personnel where needed 

• Delegate tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of MEP milestones. 

• Monitor and controlcostsresources andqualityof MEP installations. 

• Ensure adherence toconstruction best practicesbuilding codes andsustainability standards.

• Ability to investigate variances plan strategies and solve complex MEP-related issues. 

• Skilled in budgeting staffing and resource allocation. 

• Capable of conducting advanced financial analysis and managing MEP cost controls. 

• Strong verbal and written skills to convey technical information clearly. 

• Judicious in selecting subcontractors and resolving project challenges. 

• Effective in managing teams and driving performance. 

• Deep knowledge of MEP systems construction technologies and technical drawings. 

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree inMechanical Electrical Civil EngineeringConstruction Management or a related field. 

• 8 years of experience in MEP management 

• Strong knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing fire protection and ELV systems. 

• Familiarity with local building codes standards and regulations. 

• Proficient in AutoCAD Revit MS Project and other relevant software. 

• Excellent project management coordination and communication skills. 

• Ability to lead teams manage contractors and handle multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. 

• Licensure as aProfessional Engineer (PE)or equivalent is highly desirable. 

• Proven experience indesign coordinationinstallation andcommissioningof MEP systems. 

• Strong understanding oftechnical and commercial aspectsof MEP engineering and construction. 

• Familiarity withlocal and international codesstatutory regulations andindustry standardsfor MEP systems. 

• Proficient inMicrosoft Office SuiteMS Project andAutoCAD/Revit. Ability to read and interpretMEP drawingscontracts andtechnical documentation.
