Job Summary
Job Summary:
Responsible for brand marketing activities. Develop current business and maximize income in installed base based on product life cycle position. Responsible for meeting sales and margin goals and improving patient care while effectively communicating approved value proposition to key stakeholders.
Provide leadership through direction skill development disease and product knowledge industry knowledge competitive knowledge and company knowledge. Lead brand team to effectively anticipate trends and needs adapt organization and execute brand plans and vision. Set goals achieves and monitors progress. Execute global and US marketing strategies and messages with the appropriate medical regulatory legal and OEC approval. Utilize both written and verbal communication skills to provide clear direction on brand vision and strategies to sales team and other field representative from commercial organization. Prepare Brand Strategic Plan and financial forecasts to upper management.
Responsibilities
- Hold accountability and responsibility for allocated Brand P&L and financial planning (Financial Plan Focus/Update LRP)
- Drive development of Brand strategy within Brand planning process in line with responsibilities allocated within the Brand Team
- Maximize brands sales and margin revenue through the effective management and execution of Brand activities as per Brand Plan and through effective leadership contribution and participation in Brand Team activities
- Set future direction for existing and new products and business opportunities
- Support product market expansion through innovative commercial programs. Develops view on Brand issues and competitive positioning customer segments and their needs and market development
- Develop & effectively execute Brand/commercial strategies with specific timelines budgets and stakeholder responsibilities aligned with Brand planning process and Brand Team direction
- Responsible as project owner of development brand promotional material and Med/Reg (ePass) approval process
- Translate strategy to implementation into tactics; communicate clearly and allocate responsibilities to cross functional team members and in-field team (e.g. product messaging by physician segment)
- Monitor Key Performance Indicator results and feedback and propose strategic planning/tactics adjustment
- Maintain and develop in-depth customer insight to anticipate stakeholder needs
Significant Work Activities:
- Driving a personal auto or company car or truck or a powered piece of material handling equipment
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree required. Concentration in either science or business administration desirable. MBA preferred.
- Three (3) to five (5) years experience in Marketing Sales and/or Commercial Area is required. Background and experience in pharmaceutical industry are highly desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including effective presentation skills. Ability to communicate objective and results to a variety of audience.
- Must be result-oriented pay attention to detail be accurate prompt and able to meet deadlines. Must have effective financial analytical and decision making skills.
- Must possess ability to be a fast learner be creative flexible with good negotiation skills and ability to effectively work in teams.
- Knowledge of regulations compliance and legal standards impacting brand management. Knowledge of and a tradition of success in utilizing selling skills high-level negotiating skills and leadership competencies in a commercial environment
- The selected candidate must have a valid drivers license and a drivers record in good standing as per AbbVie policies and procedures.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
