P.M Maintenance Tech | Doubletree by Hilton DFW North | Irving, TX

As a Maintenance Technician youll be juggling a variety of tasks both inside and outside the hotel. Youll troubleshoot issues complete repairs efficiently and proactively identify solutions before problems escalate. Attention to detail adaptability and a hands-on mindset are key to succeeding in this role.

Heres a snapshot of a typical day:

• Performing repairs to electrical plumbing heating air conditioning and refrigeration equipment with minimal downtime.

• Installing and replacing light fixtures and bulbs.

• Conducting scheduled inspections and responding to equipment malfunctions.

• Ensuring chemicals and hazardous materials are properly used stored and documented.

• Securing the building as needed including monitoring and resetting security systems repairing locks and maintaining building keys.

• Assisting with preventative maintenance projects and general property upkeep.

Where Youve Been:

Were looking for someone with a High School diploma or equivalent along with at least one year of trade-related experience and/or training in mechanical electrical HVAC plumbing carpentry or building maintenance. A working knowledge of basic hand and power tools is strongly preferred.

As an associate of PM Hotel Group you should be comfortable working within a diverse team environment and able to remain calm under pressure. This is a fast-paced high-energy role where no two days are the same.

This is a Full-Time position working 40 hours per week primarily during the PM/afternoon shift. Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays is required based on business needs.

This is not a desk job. Be prepared to stay active throughout your shift including standing walking bending twisting climbing stairs and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds. You must be able to position yourself to access hard-to-reach areas and occasionally climb ladders to service lights roofs and other equipment.
