Onsite: This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration teamwork and direct engagement. This policy promotes an environment built on in-person interaction communication and immediate support. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Chaplain is responsible for addressing the spiritual existential and emotional needs of the member(s) and their families.

How you will make an impact

  • Provide holistic support of member(s). Identify gaps in members support and coordinate with community resources and the interdisciplinary team to help members navigate the health care system for support pastoral care offering comfort prayer and counseling to individuals and families.
  • Crisis intervention providing immediate on-call support during trauma medical crises or bereavement.
  • Confidential counseling providing a safe space for individuals to discuss personal challenges grief and spiritual questions.
  • Interfaith Support assisting people from various religious or secular backgrounds.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BS/BA in theology or pastoral studies and a minimum of 3 years in healthcare or hospice setting or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) from Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) or healthcare chaplain certification from an approved body required.

Preferred Skills Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Master of divinity or related theological studies preferred.
