Join us in shaping the future of health care and making a meaningful impact at Description:Were seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team at Memorial Hospital and Manor in Bainbridge GAon an as needed basis (PRN). The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment detail-oriented strong communication skills and problem-solving skills. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements including evaluation selection procurement and distribution of drugs counseling and professional consultation
• Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on Demand
• Interprets physician medication orders
• Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related duties
• Utilizes pharmaceutical equipment to include automated dispensing machines Laminar Flow Hoods and compounding equipment.
• Represents the hospital and PharmD on Demand in a positive and professional manner
• Maintains customer confidentiality at all times
• Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
• Exercises sound judgment in decision-making
• Interacts effectively with diverse individuals
• Maintains professionalism in all situations
• Uses time effectively and efficiently

Position Requirements:

• Current pharmacist licensure in the applicable state(s)
• Previous Pyxis experience preferred
• Previous experience with inpatient outpatients and long term care patients preferred

Schedule Details:

• As Needed to cover vacations
• Additional shifts may be available as workload permits
