Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate is a strong adaptable caregiver with the ability to support both patient care and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to laboring and high-risk obstetric patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
- Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Deliver immediate newborn care and stabilization
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float to mother-baby/postpartum units as needed
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- AWHONN Advanced (required)
- BCLS/BLS
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
