Steel Fixer

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking experienced Steel Fixers to join our RC frame teams on a busy project in this role you will be responsible for fixing reinforcement steel in accordance with drawings and specifications working as part of a skilled team to deliver high-quality concrete frame structures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fix reinforcement steel in line with structural drawings bar schedules and specifications
• Accurately read and interpret structural drawings on site
• Cut bend and tie rebar using appropriate tools and techniques
• Carry out work across slabs columns walls staircases and core walls
• Work safely in and around formwork and at height
• Maintain a clean organised and safe working environment at all times
• Collaborate effectively within a team to meet project deadlines

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid CSCS Blue Steel Fixer card (or equivalent) with proven site experience
• Strong ability to fix reinforcement from drawings and bar schedules
• Competent in reading and interpreting structural drawings
• Reliable punctual and able to work well alongside other trades
• Right to work in the UK

DESIRABLE

• Harness Awareness certification
• Working at Height qualification
• 5 years experience on RC frame projects
