Job Summary
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking experienced Steel Fixers to join our RC frame teams on a busy project in this role you will be responsible for fixing reinforcement steel in accordance with drawings and specifications working as part of a skilled team to deliver high-quality concrete frame structures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fix reinforcement steel in line with structural drawings bar schedules and specifications
- Accurately read and interpret structural drawings on site
- Cut bend and tie rebar using appropriate tools and techniques
- Carry out work across slabs columns walls staircases and core walls
- Work safely in and around formwork and at height
- Maintain a clean organised and safe working environment at all times
- Collaborate effectively within a team to meet project deadlines
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid CSCS Blue Steel Fixer card (or equivalent) with proven site experience
- Strong ability to fix reinforcement from drawings and bar schedules
- Competent in reading and interpreting structural drawings
- Reliable punctual and able to work well alongside other trades
- Right to work in the UK
DESIRABLE
- Harness Awareness certification
- Working at Height qualification
- 5 years experience on RC frame projects
