Job Summary
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 06:00am-18:00pm.
Salary: 12.88 per hour.
Your job duties will include but not limited to the following:
- To ensure the Warehouse and its outside area is always kept tidy. Ensure all mechanical equipment including sweepers/scrubbers/FLTs is used safely and is carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety policy. Report any deviance from correct operating practices assist the ream to ensure the Hub is clean and safe working environment.
- Following Health and safety while operating any cleaning/MHE
- To safely remove all debris from the Hub floor through the shift
- To remove litter from inside and outside of the site
- To lead/assist in any large-scale spillage removal that may occur throughout the shift
- To report/defect any issues or problems with equipment
- By example promote Health and Safety culture within the shift
- To ensure any cleaning machine to be used in the shift is checked prior to and after use
- To work on own initiative to ensure Hub floor is clean and dry
- To respond positively accurately and implement instructions from the shift management
- To report any damages spillages to the shift management
- To use the jet washer in the correct way in line with the Job Operations procedures
- To respect and act responsibly towards the companys property all the time
- To remove empty and replace bins and skips
- To follow the company on site recycling regime
- Park the used machines in the parking zone all the time when not using it (going for break toilet end of shift)
Qualifications :
- Cleaner experience is preferred but full training will be provided if necessary
- FLT licence (Counterbalance)
- Individual competencies Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Interpersonal competencies - Proactivity and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Motivational competencies Knowledge of health and safety standards and the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
- Managerial competencies Excellent time management skills ability to multitask and maintain schedule while responding to incidents.
