Job Summary

Reporting to the Ministry of the Attorney General the AGCO is responsible for regulating Ontarios vibrant alcohol gaming horse racing and private retail cannabis sectors in accordance with theprinciples of honesty and integrity and in the public Office of the CIO & Digital Transformation Branch within the I&IT Division plays a critical role in shaping the future of AGCOs digital and technology landscape. Working in close partnership with the CIO and senior I&IT leadership the branch leads the development evolution and execution of IT strategies that directly support the agencys broader mandate and strategic priorities. Through research innovation incubation and centralized governance of core Office of the CIO functions the branch drives continuous modernization across the Senior Advisor Digital Transformation is a key contributor to this mandate supporting the definition and advancement of AGCOs IT and digital strategies including the agencys digital transformation roadmap. This role works collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for digitization advance mature business capabilities and enable responsible adoption of emerging technologies including contributing to aspects of AI governance. The Senior Advisor conducts research analysis and business-case-driven solutioning to address complex organizational challenges ensuring recommendations align with both the digital and overall IT addition the role plays an important part in establishing operationalizing and sustaining digital maturity and transformation performance measurement. This includes helping to develop metrics frameworks and reporting mechanisms that support ongoing review evaluation and transparent communication of digital transformation progress I&IT contribution and realized business position is well-suited to a strong strategic generalist who is comfortable navigating ambiguity engaging senior stakeholders conducting primary research and analysis and translating insights into clear actionable plans communications and presentations that drive measurable You Will Do:Develop and formulate an engagement plan to workwithvarious stakeholdersinidentifyingopportunities to integrate digitization and mature business capabilities through digital researchanalysis and business-case driven solutioning of organizational issues and recommendations that align with the agencys digitalstrategyand overall IT strategic plansand business and oversee the implementation (and adoption) of the enterprise digital maturity and adapt strategic models or frameworks that help to simplify complex business and IT problemssupporting AGCOs digital minimal oversightlead the development of strategic deliverables such as frameworks roadmapspresentations and analyses that create meaningful insights toassistin overcoming business and present documentsbriefings andartifacts asrequired representing I&IT to executive leaders such as C-Suite andExecutiveBoard integration of strategic planning performance and prioritization across AGCO in the developmentandmanagement ofdigital transformation programperformancemeasurement and reporting such as Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) performance metrics IT portfolio reporting as well as contribution and business value of IT strategic stakeholders through consultative and facilitative workshops andmeetings drawing relevant insight and strategic counsel to key stakeholders regularly including thought leadership andexpertiseto expand business Have: Abachelors degree in business engineering IT or a related field combined witha minimum of5 years of related work experience in a senior advisor or analyst or practical knowledge of project management businessanalysis and continuousimprovement methodologies:Project Management Professional (PMP) Agile/Scrum certified Lean Six leadership experience in mentoring and coaching team members and team in driving digital transformation and business engagement in a dynamic and complex operating in developing and documenting technological strategic plans and reporting on OKRs and other performance measures for diverse -versed in consulting approaches tools techniques and roles and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients/stakeholders within and outside their interpersonalwritten and verbal communication skills including negotiation senior managementpresentations to manage multiple concurrent initiativesobjectives or activities.A demonstrated ability to workcollaborativelywith diverse groups of people is successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background check.
