Bland Landscaping Company is seeking a high-energy hands-on Production Manager to lead our Landscape Enhancement and Installation teams. This is a pivotal leadership role focused on bridging the gap between design and reality. You will be responsible for managing Field Supervisors and crews ensuring that every commercial project is executed with a focus on safety elite quality and operational efficiency.

The Role: Impact & Responsibilities
As a Production Manager you are the heartbeat of our field operations. Your focus will span four key areas:
1. Team Leadership & Personnel
Recruit & Retain: Interview hire and onboard new talent including participating in our intern training programs.
Mentor: Continually train Field Supervisors and crews in horticulture best practices and leadership skills.
Accountability: Enforce company policies and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure a high standard of excellence.
2. Production & Operations
Efficiency: Utilize BOSS LM to schedule projects and track job hours/material budgets.
Quality Control: Conduct site inspections at least every two weeks to ensure The Bland Standard is met.
Safety First: Lead safety meetings and ensure all equipmentfrom heavy machinery to irrigation controllersis operated and maintained safely.
Seasonal Agility: Coordinate with other departments to meet seasonal deadlines and lead snow removal efforts during winter months.
3. Strategic Management & Accounting
Budgeting: Provide crews with clear hour and material guides to drive profitable production.
Asset Management: Oversee equipment inventory and ensure all facilities and vehicles are secure and serviced.
Data Integrity: Monitor the accuracy of field timesheets and work orders.
4. Customer Success & Sales Support
Client Relations: Maintain excellent on-site communication with clients and subcontractors.
Growth: Partner with Account Managers to identify enhancement opportunities on existing sites to encourage upsells.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 35 years of experience in Commercial Grounds Management is required.
Education: A 2-year college degree is preferred.
Licensing: Valid NC Drivers license with a clean record. Must have (or be able to obtain) an NC Pesticide Applicators License.
Technical Skills: Ability to lift 50 lbs work in all weather conditions and navigate environmental risks (pollen thorns etc.).
Professionalism: You must present a clean professional image in a Bland Landscaping uniform and demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Background: Must pass a criminal background check.
