Shift: Day Shift (MondayFriday 08:00 16:30) Duration: 13-week assignment
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse to support a busy outpatient/primary care setting. The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering patient-centered care with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory/primary care environment
Perform patient assessments and assist with care planning
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Support physicians and healthcare providers during patient visits
Educate patients on treatment plans medications and follow-up care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
Ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols
Requirements:
Active state RN license required at time of submission
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years)
Primary care experience required
Experience in ambulatory or urgent care settings preferred
Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
