Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Ambulatory Care Registered Nurse to support a busy outpatient/primary care setting. The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering patient-centered care with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory/primary care environment
- Perform patient assessments and assist with care planning
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Support physicians and healthcare providers during patient visits
- Educate patients on treatment plans medications and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records
- Ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Active state RN license required at time of submission
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent acute care experience (within the past 2 years)
- Primary care experience required
- Experience in ambulatory or urgent care settings preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records systems preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
