Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in an education location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help discourage incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this armed post you will support a welcoming environment through routine patrols professionalism and integrity while working with a team that is agile reliable innovative and people first.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students staff visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances medical situations and/or critical events in a calm professional problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting details through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout campus buildings parking areas entrances and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and authorized entry activity verify credentials when required and report suspicious behavior trespassing concerns and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support emergency protocols by assisting with lockdowns evacuations escorts and/or other security-related responses based on site procedures and the needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
