The dual campus Invasive Radiology Supervisor will work at both the Whittier and Downey Campus. Generally the time will be split between the two campuses.

The Supervisor oversees the technologists day to day operations including assigning of staff to procedures ensuring all equipment is functional all safety equipment is checked and is being used coordinating Technologist lunch and break times developing and disseminating the work schedule and the On Call schedules for both campuses. The Supervisor also assists the Manager and Director in hiring and training of new staff. The supervisor may also be needed to assist with procedures (within the scope of practice) to cover staff breaks or short staffed sick call shifts. Will occasionally need to assist with scrubbing procedures and to provide on call coverage for either Downey or Whittier. The Supervisor will be responsible for performing the Technologist annual performance evaluations. The Supervisor will review and update procedure manuals and protocols as needed; coordinate with educators and REPs the Technologist staff education maintaining and ensuring all initial and annual competencies are completed. The Supervisor will ensure that the staff are performinhg the daily quality controls and testing of equipment. The supervisor will also be responsible for ordering all necessary supplies or ensuring that the inventory personnel are ordering and maintaining appropriate PAR levels of supplies. Inventory par levels will also be established and entered in WaveMark by the Supervisor. The Supervisor will assist and participate in quality improvement projects in the department. The ability to self-direct and to organize a varied workload is required.
