Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Metro Reentry Facility provides direct patient care and supports overnight clinical operations in a structured correctional healthcare setting. This role is ideal for a nurse who is confident working independently maintains strong clinical judgment and thrives in a consistent team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care within scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to RN or provider
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Support intake sick call and chronic care needs as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Follow all clinical protocols safety procedures and facility policies

Qualifications (Required)

• Active LPN license in Georgia or compact license (must be in good standing)
• Current CPR certification (must be active)
• Experience in one or more of the following preferred: Behavioral Health ER Med-Surg or Correctional Healthcare
• Strong clinical communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a structured environment
