Position Overview
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Metro Reentry Facility provides direct patient care and supports overnight clinical operations in a structured correctional healthcare setting. This role is ideal for a nurse who is confident working independently maintains strong clinical judgment and thrives in a consistent team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care within scope of practice
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to RN or provider
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Support intake sick call and chronic care needs as required
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members
Follow all clinical protocols safety procedures and facility policies

Qualifications
Qualifications (Required)
Active LPN license in Georgia or compact license (must be in good standing)
Current CPR certification (must be active)
Experience in one or more of the following preferred: Behavioral Health ER Med-Surg or Correctional Healthcare
Strong clinical communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a structured environment
