The Instrumentation Coordinator ensures equipment instruments and supplies can be reused safely to prevent infections. This position is for ensuring sterilized appropriately functioning medical supplies and instrumentation are packaged and delivered to the point use aseptically. Additionally this position needs to serve as a clinical liaison between the Operating Rooms and the CSS offsite location to track and allocate sterilized instrumentation across the Enterprise. This position will also be responsible for procuring and standardizing instrument trays across the Enterprise. This position will be utilized 24/7 in multiple reprocessing sites across the Health System to include Ross Heart Hospital University Hospital James Cancer Hospital Same Day Surgery University Hospital East and all Ambulatory sites (Dublin New Albany EEI Jameson Crane West Campus). Special Equipment : EquipmentREQUIRED: Drills scopes DaVinci Censitrac REQUIRED: Medivator experience #Tier4 Travel Compliance There is a strict compliance deadline of Tuesday prior to start no exceptions. Travelers who are extreme distances from Ohio will be mailed a fingerprinting packet which is to be completed urgently upon receipt. Detailed instructions will be sent to the candidate by the Credentialing team. RTO required with submission must be built into contract Locals are accepted at the same rate Reference Requirements: 2 professional references are required. At least 1 reference must be from a manager/director or someone in a formal leadership capacity (e.g. a supervisor). Charge RN acceptable for 2nd reference. No coworker references accepted. Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location RNs- must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission. MRI techs - submittals without OH license are acceptable. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
