Storeman

Starlite Aviation has a requirement for an attentive organized team-oriented individual to fill a position as a Storeman.

The role will be located in Africa (bases may vary according to contract requirements).

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Stock and Consumables via TRAXALL.
• Issue the correct item and quantity at the right time to the correct person/place/contract.
• Manage Calibration Tools Safety Equipment lifting strops slings and Ground Supporting Equipment (GSE) via Traxall.
• Goods Receipt Inspection.
• Packaging for Dispatch Contract allocation.
• Manage Fuel Farm.
• Ensure compliance with our Safety.
• Management System Quality Policy & Manual of Procedure (MOP).

• Good Communication Skills
• Good Interpersonal Skills
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Strong Administration Skills Work efficiently and complete work timeously
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Word and Outlook)
• Working knowledge of Traxall AMP (Aircraft Maintenance Planning) and AMS (Aircraft Maintenance Schedules) software (preferable)
• Attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

The following list of qualifications is essential to fill the position

• Knowledge and experience in aircraft maintenance logistical support systems.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the aircraft maintenance environment
• Willing to travel abroad
• Experience in contract work abroad (advantageous)
