Job Summary

Job Overview:

Our client is a global digital asset trading firm operating across multiple international markets providing advanced trading and liquidity solutions to institutional clients. As part of their continued expansion across APAC they are building out their Malaysia team as a key regional hub.

This role involves working on high-performance production-grade trading infrastructure handling significant real-time transaction volumes. You will collaborate closely with global trading and engineering teams contributing directly to systems that operate with real capital.

What You Will Do:

Develop and maintain high-performance trading systems using C and Python.
Connect and integrate with crypto exchange APIs (REST WebSocket FIX).
Build and enhance risk management and PnL reporting tools.
Integrate with OEMS and PMS vendor platforms.
Optimize system performance latency and reliability in production environments.
Troubleshoot and debug critical trading infrastructure issues.
Conduct quantitative analysis to refine and improve pricing models.
Contribute to system architecture decisions balancing speed scalability and robustness.
Collaborate closely with traders to support execution and system efficiency.
Manage deployments CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).

What Makes You a Good Fit:

3 years of experience with trading systems financial platforms or real-time data systems.
Strong programming expertise in C and/or Python.
Background in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field.
Proven experience building and maintaining scalable production systems.
Solid understanding of system reliability monitoring and debugging practices.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows (AWS/GCP CI/CD).
Ability to work across both software development and infrastructure layers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
Effective communicator with experience collaborating across global teams.
Familiarity with crypto markets and exchange integrations.
Ownership mentality with a focus on production outcomes.
Open to flexible or shift-based schedules due to 24/7 market dynamics.
