Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Diesel Technician / Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to join a respected transportation service team with over 40 years of industry experience serving Wisconsin and Illinois. Schedule: MondayFriday 1st Shift (8:00 AM5:00 PM or 7:30 AM4:30 PM)
No nights. No weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks
  • Perform repairs on brakes (air & hydraulic) suspension steering driveline transmission and electrical systems
  • Complete engine overhauls and component replacements (injectors pistons heads clutches differentials etc.)
  • Accurately document repair orders and recommended services
  • Conduct inspections and road tests
  • Follow OEM and safety standards at all times
  • Maintain efficiency organization and productivity in all work
  • Support ongoing training and technical development

Requirements

  • 5 years of diesel technician / heavy truck repair experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (mechanical & electrical)
  • Experience with engines transmissions and driveline systems
  • Must have own tools
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • CDL eligibility required
  • ASE OEM training or EPA 608/609 certifications preferred
  • Stable work history and strong mechanical aptitude

As a senior Diesel Technician you will perform independent diagnostics and repairs on all makes of commercial trucks and buses. Youll handle both major and minor repairs while maintaining high industry standards. Experienced technicians may also support and mentor junior team members.
