Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Industrial Mechanic / Machine Technician for a full-time role in Dover NJ. This position focuses on industrial machinery maintenance hydraulic systems welding and equipment repair/rebuilding in both shop and field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance repair and troubleshooting on industrial machinery
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical hydraulic and equipment failures
- Perform machine assembly rebuilding and fabrication of replacement parts
- Execute TIG and fusion welding grinding and metal polishing (stainless & carbon steel)
- Work on hydraulic systems gearboxes bearings seals shafts and motor alignment
- Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings
- Perform limited electrical work (motors switches basic wiring)
- Conduct on-site field service visits to customer locations as needed
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic / Machine Repair Technician
- Strong hydraulic system assembly and troubleshooting experience (required)
- TIG and fusion welding experience (required)
- Experience with machine rebuilding gearboxes bearings seals and alignment work
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and technical documentation
- Valid drivers license required for field service work
