What You Will Do:
- Leads development and qualification efforts of aircraft evacuation slides.
- Manages moderate to large sized projects including but not limited to system development and qualification hardware design testing and processing as part of a cross-functional team.
- Conducts root cause analysis and drive robust corrective actions for evacuation slide manufacturing and fielded product.
- Conceptualizes and prepares preliminary and final detail design and documentation of evacuation systems components and assemblies.
- Participates in defining engineering approaches and in planning and scheduling work.
- Mentors early career engineers and provide instruction and support to team members
- Provides engineering material review board (MRB) dispositions for non-conforming products.
- Coordinates the building and testing of prototypes.
- Performs financial analysis of a projects design components.
- Works with Systems Engineer to plan and execute requirements validation and verification and assess impact to qualification basis when design changes are made.
- Prepares presentations and presents program status milestones risks mitigation plans etc. at regularly scheduled program reviews.
- Leads customer meetings for multiple customers.
- Ensures successful completion of an assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints.
- Executes projects in accordance with the RTX Lifecycle Program Management.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Experience working with Microsoft O365 software suite.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Familiarity working in the design development and regulatory approval of aircraft systems.
- Exceptional problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize both daily issues and strategize longer term projects.

The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
