This position reports to:
Engineering ManagerPerform electrical maintenance and troubleshooting including electrical wiring motor controls sensors actuators VFD controls and motors; read and interpret electrical prints; understand and modify PLC logic to control machine operations; install conduit and pull wire as needed.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Trade school or college classes preferred.
Specialized Skills:
- Preferred (8) eight years experience in Industrial Manufacturing environment as Electro Mechanic Technician
- Industrial Electrician with blue print reading skills PLC and electronics knowledge strongly desired
- Must be able to read and understand written and verbal directions
- Must be able to interpret various measuring devices have good shop math and mechanical abilities
- Have the ability to troubleshoot in a timely manner different types of problems with automated machinery presses furnaces HVAC some plumbing and other types of equipment as needed
- Must be able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment and repair it
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings/blueprints and understand electrical hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
- Must be able to weld have good use of hand tools power tools and test equipment
- Good team player with displayed ability to work independently and safely
- Computer Literacy familiarity with basic computer programs for data entry and reporting.
The Maintenance Electro Mechanical Technician must be able to perform these functions in a manner that does not compromise their safety or the safety of coworkers. The Maintenance Mechanic must be able to perform these tasks for a minimum of 8 hours per day 5 days a week. Hourly pay range: $33.07-$40.46
(Shift premium for 2nd & 3rd shift)
