Job Title: Sleep Technologist / Polysomnographic Technologist
Location: The Woodlands TX
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks with possibility of extension)

Schedule:

• Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist (Sleep Tech) to perform overnight sleep studies in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting diagnostic testing monitoring patients and ensuring safe high-quality care throughout the sleep study process.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare for and conduct overnight sleep studies following physician orders and protocols
• Review patient history medications and sleep patterns prior to testing
• Monitor patients throughout sleep studies and ensure accurate data collection
• Perform complex sleep study procedures and evaluations
• Maintain and operate sleep lab equipment according to safety and sanitation standards
• Provide age-appropriate care to patients across all populations
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with clinical guidelines
• Support patient safety and comfort throughout the testing process
• Participate in training mentoring and ongoing professional development
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
• Strong clinical and technical skills in sleep studies
• Ability to work independently in a night shift environment

Certifications & Licensure:

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75100 lbs and carry up to 30 lbs as needed
• Ability to work overnight shifts in a clinical setting
