Job Title: Lead Engineer

Location: Hull

Salary:

Seeking an experienced Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving engineering performance and supporting site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of engineers to ensure high performance and engagement
Oversee day-to-day maintenance and engineering activities across the site
Plan and deliver preventative and reactive maintenance schedules
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
Support and manage engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
Work closely with production and operations teams to minimise downtime

Key Skills & Experience:

Strong engineering background (mechanical electrical or multi-skilled)
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Relevant engineering qualification (HNC HND or equivalent)
