Receptionist Security Officer- FT Warren, NJ

Securitas is looking for a Receptionist Security Officer.

$22.50/hr

Monday to Friday

7:00am to 3:00pm

With this position you will be the first point of contact responsible for greeting visitors answering phones issuing visitor badges and operating security systems like CCTV while enforcing safety protocols monitoring entry points and responding to emergencies. By monitoring entry points verifying visitor credentials and being trained to spot suspicious behavior these professionals help prevent security breaches before they occur.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome visitors clients and employees in a courteous and professional manner.

• Monitor and control access to the building ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.

• Maintain a visitor log and issue visitor badges as required.

• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Provide information and assistance to visitors and employees regarding facility policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular security checks of the lobby and surrounding areas to identify and address any potential security issues.

• Coordinate with security personnel and emergency services as needed in case of incidents or emergencies.

• Assist in the implementation of security protocols and procedures to enhance safety within the facility.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to data protection regulations.

• Perform administrative tasks such as filing data entry and managing office supplies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security management or customer service is a plus.

• 18 years of age

• Reliable means of transportation.

• Able to speak write and read English.

• Proven experience as a receptionist security officer or in a similar role.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals.

• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.

• Basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and experience with security management software.

• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures is preferred.

• Must possess a valid security guard license.
