As a Security Officer Entry Desk in Piedmont SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will monitor access points verify credentials and help support a smooth flow of people and vehicles. This Access Control role combines customer service clear communication and attention to detail to help reduce security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and drivers by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or shipping documentation and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas loading zones and other key parts of the location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location including perimeter areas gates parking areas and dock spaces noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns.
• Assist with visitor vendor and delivery processing by maintaining required logs providing directions and following post orders related to access traffic flow and property control.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
