As a Consultant Hydrologist based in Sudbury or Toronto you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients understand how water moves changes and interacts with natural and industrial systems. Your work will support responsible resource development protect ecosystems and help shape environmental strategies that ripple far beyond the project site.

What Your Impact Is

In this role youll help deliver highquality hydrology and water resources work that informs regulatory approvals environmental assessments and longterm monitoring programs. You will:

Analyze hydrologic water quality and watershed datasets to support modeling and impact assessments.
Contribute written sections to technical reports and environmental assessments.
Conduct fieldwork related to streamflow measurements water sampling instrumentation and hydrometric surveys.
Collaborate with specialists in water resources aquatic biology toxicology and earth sciencesbroadening your skill set and professional exposure.
Ensure all work meets ERMs quality safety and scientific standards.

What Youll Bring

Required

. in Hydrology Environmental Science Water Resources Engineering Geology or a related field.
2 years of hydrology water quality watershed analysis or water resourcerelated experience.
Strong academic foundation in surface water hydrology watershed processes or hydrogeochemical interactions.
Ability to work effectively as part of large multidisciplinary project teams.
Excellent writing communication and presentation skills.
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Preferred

Experience with water and sediment sampling techniques streamflow gauging or hydrometric equipment.
Familiarity with water quality or hydrologic modeling tools (e.g. HECHMS SWMM GoldSim PHREEQC depending on background).
Ability to code or conduct statistical analyses using R or similar tools.
Experience with GIS or geological/watershed software (e.g. ArcGIS QGIS Geosoft Target or 3D visualization tools).

Key Responsibilities

Perform project tasks including:
- Hydrologic and water quality data analysis
- Drafting sections of technical reports
- Conducting water sampling streamflow measurements and field surveys
- Completing data and literature reviews
Deliver work within defined scope budget and schedule while maintaining ERMs quality standards.
Collaborate with technical teams in water resources aquatic biology and toxicology to support environmental impact assessment and monitoring programs.

For the Consultant Hydrologist position the anticipated annual base pay is $73161$94217 (CAD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education experience skills location performance and business some cases pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
