Security Officer Access Control Desk

As a Security Officer Access Control Desk in Tampa FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a premier financial services location you will maintain a professional presence greet visitors manage access and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork integrity and a caring culture while using an agile and reliable approach to help create a welcoming environment.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor lobby and reception area activity manage access control processes verify credentials and document visitor information in accordance with location protocols.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Answer phones greet guests provide directions and support front desk operations while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns within a financial services location.
• Complete required logs reports and incident documentation and report maintenance issues access concerns and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
