As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol Driver in West Des Moines IA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility entrances parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures assisting with badge checks directional support and/or other front-facing responsibilities as assigned.
• Support day-to-day operations by observing the location for policy violations maintenance concerns and/or suspicious behavior then communicating findings through required reports and appropriate escalation channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
