- Friday: 8:30 AM 3:00 PM
- No nights or weekends
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to support a Womens Health / Diagnostic Imaging department in a collaborative outpatient clinical setting. This role is focused on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services with a strong emphasis on womens health care.
This is a day shift position with no nights or weekends offering a consistent weekday schedule in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Ensure proper setup calibration and functionality of ultrasound equipment prior to use
- Maintain a clean safe and organized imaging environment
- Clean and disinfect equipment and exam areas after each patient
- Stock and prepare exam rooms with necessary supplies
- Accurately document and transfer imaging data into PACS / radiology systems
- Communicate imaging findings to referring providers as directed
- Prioritize STAT and urgent imaging requests as needed
- Support daily clinic workflow and patient flow efficiency
- Deliver compassionate patient-centered care at all times
- Follow all infection control safety and HIPAA compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience preferred
- ARDMS Certification in one or more of the following:
- General
- OB/GYN
- Vascular
- BLS Certification required
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and protocols
- Ability to work independently in a clinical environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Womens Health or OB/GYN ultrasound
- Prior hospital or outpatient clinic experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience with PACS or radiology information systems
