Job Summary
Material Control Technician
Job Location: Al Sailiya Qatar
Industry: Construction
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Extendable)
Experience Requirements
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in material control / inventory management
-
Construction industry experience is mandatory
Eligibility

Applicant must be locally available in Qatar
-
Must hold a valid Freelance Visa
Job Responsibilities
-
Perform material control stock management and inventory control activities
-
Control issue and manage bench stock materials
-
Obtain materials required for equipment modification periodic component replacement and Bill of Materials (BOM) support
-
Maintain and coordinate storage methods and warehouse control including receipt issue and disposal of materials
-
Apply proper material handling and storage techniques
-
Perform item-wise and monetary accounting of inventory
-
Compute material requirements determine allowances and identify supply and equipment needs
-
Carry out inspection identification receipt and storage of materials
-
Conduct regular physical inventories and ensure accuracy of stock records
-
Ensure facility safety security and compliance with site procedures
-
Operate automated systems material handling equipment and authorized vehicles as required
Key Skills
-
Strong knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse operations
-
Good coordination and record-keeping skills
-
Familiar with construction site material procedures
-
Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting
