MECHANICAL BIM MODELER

Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage 3D BIM models for mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing fire protection and pumping systems.
- Coordinate mechanical models with architectural structural and other MEP disciplines to ensure clash-free designs.
- Prepare construction drawings schematics and schedules directly from BIM models for fabrication and site installation.
- Perform clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools and support resolution of design conflicts.
- Participate in coordination workshops design reviews and interface meetings with engineering construction and client teams.
- Ensure mechanical models comply with project BIM standards LOD requirements and BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Maintain proper version control and documentation of all models and deliverables.
- Support constructability reviews and provide technical input during design and pre-construction phases.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Building Services or related discipline.
- Minimum 56 years of experience in mechanical BIM modeling.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP AutoCAD MEP and Navisworks Manage.
- Strong understanding of HVAC plumbing fire protection and pumping systems.
- Experience in multi-discipline coordination for infrastructure or building projects.
- Familiarity with BIM standards (ISO 19650) BEP and collaboration workflows.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary project teams.
- GCC project experience is an advantage.
