IT Project Manager

Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract - 1099 basis

Duration: 6 months

Start Date: 20 April 2025 immediate availability required

Location: East coast USA

Travel: EMEA coordination required; some site visits likely

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support a programme of new retail store openings on a fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will take end-to-end ownership of technology delivery across multiple concurrent site launches working with internal stakeholders third-party vendors and on-site teams to ensure each opening is delivered on time and to specification.

This is a fast-moving hands-on role. The right person will be comfortable operating at pace managing competing priorities and keeping complex delivery programmes on track.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and drive project plans for new store technology deployments from pre-build through to go-live

• Manage stakeholder communication across internal teams contractors and suppliers

• Coordinate delivery of network infrastructure retail technology (POS/EPOS) and AV systems across each site

• Identify and manage risks dependencies and issues; escalate appropriately

• Produce clear timely project reporting for senior stakeholders

• Liaise across EMEA time zones to maintain programme momentum

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrable project management experience ideally with a recognised methodology (PRINCE2 PMP or equivalent)

• Proven track record delivering technology projects in a retail environment

• New store openings experience is a strong advantage

• Practical knowledge of network infrastructure retail technology and AV systems

• Immediately available

• East coast based preferred to support EMEA coordination windows

• Strong communicator able to manage multiple workstreams and diverse stakeholder groups simultaneously
