The Position We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicated Male PE Teacher for a high-achieving secondary school in Coventry. Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Teaching PE across KS3 and KS4 including GCSE PE and BTEC Sport options.

• Coaching & Fixtures: Taking a lead role in the schools extracurricular program managing teams for after-school fixtures and tournaments.

• Inclusive Practice: Motivating students of all skill levels to engage in physical activity and develop lifelong healthy habits.

• Assessment: Monitoring student progress and using data to drive improvement in both practical and theoretical PE.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: A degree in Physical Education or Sports Science alongside QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).

• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of a variety of sports (Rugby Football Cricket and Athletics are highly desirable).

• Leadership: An inspiring classroom presence and the ability to act as a positive male role model for young people.

• Availability: As this is an ASAP start we are looking for candidates who are either immediately available or on a short notice period.

• Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) and a solid understanding of safeguarding in a school setting.

Remuneration

• Paid to scale on MPS / UPS dependent on experience.
