This opportunity is ideal for a teacher who enjoys delivering engaging lessons and encouraging students to explore the scientific world through both theory and practical learning.

What Your Teaching Will Look Like

In this role you will teach general Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 helping students build confidence across Biology Chemistry and Physics topics. Lessons will combine explanation experimentation and structured assessment to support long-term learning.

Youll also contribute to the preparation of students for GCSE Science ensuring they understand key scientific concepts and develop effective exam skills.

Core Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Deliver Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Teach core topics in Biology Chemistry and Physics

• Plan practical experiments and demonstrations

• Support students with GCSE Science preparation

• Assess student progress and provide feedback

Wider Responsibilities

• Maintain safe laboratory environments

• Follow health and safety procedures during practical work

• Support departmental planning and shared resources

• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
