Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Lead to drive end-to-end technical delivery for a large-scale HCM transformation program. This role will be responsible for leading technical workstreams designing scalable solutions and ensuring high-quality delivery across Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end technical delivery of Oracle HCM Cloud implementations upgrades and enhancements
- Own and manage technical workstreams including:
- Integrations
- Reports
- Data Conversions
- Extensions
- Fast Formulas
- Oversee development activities such as:
- HCM Extracts
- OTBI & BI Publisher Reports
- HDL (HCM Data Loader)
- REST/SOAP integrations
- PaaS extensions and scripting
- Ensure adherence to Oracle standards integration patterns and security controls
2. Solution Architecture & Design
- Design scalable secure and efficient technical architecture across HCM modules:
- Core HR
- Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC)
- Learning
- Talent Management
- Absence Management
- OTL (Time & Labor)
- Payroll
- Conduct solution design workshops and review technical specifications
- Translate functional requirements into detailed technical design documentation
3. Project & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with functional leads Project Managers business SMEs and cross-functional teams
- Validate technical solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Provide effort estimates identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Lead and mentor offshore/onshore development teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
4. Development Testing & Deployment
- Lead technical development across RICEW components (Reports Interfaces Conversions Extensions Workflows)
- Perform unit testing and support:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Parallel payroll testing
- Cutover activities
- Support migration of configurations code integrations and data across environments
5. Production Support & Continuous Improvement
- Provide post-go-live hypercare and ongoing technical support
- Drive system optimization automation and performance improvements
- Continuously enhance HCM technical capabilities and processes
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud technical roles
- Strong expertise in:
- HDL HCM Extracts Fast Formulas
- OTBI BI Publisher
- REST/SOAP integrations
- Hands-on experience with Oracle PaaS and integration frameworks
- Proven experience leading large-scale Oracle HCM implementations
- Strong understanding of HCM modules (Core HR Payroll ORC etc.)
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with payroll implementations and parallel testing
- Exposure to DevOps automation tools or CI/CD in Oracle environments
- Oracle certifications
