Scope of Role

Client is an AI-native health tech platform transforming how enterprise health systems route triage and schedule patients in real time.

The company is building an intelligent layer for hospital operations. Replacing fragmented manual scheduling and triage workflows with AI-driven automation that operates directly inside enterprise health systems.

They have already:

• Gone from first customer conversation live production with University of Miami Health System in 6 weeks
• Built early PLG traction with a scribe-style product reaching 3500 weekly active users growing 60% month over month
• Raised $13M in funding
• Built a small elite engineering team (6 8 engineers)

Engineers in this role will:

• Design core system architecture and abstractions for clinical workflows and scheduling logic
• Build and optimize real-time voice pipelines for AI-driven patient calls (scheduling triage confirmations)
• Work across the full stack: LLM systems backend infrastructure and product UI
• Work directly with healthcare customers to model complex workflows and deploy into production systems
• Own features end-to-end from design build deployment iteration

This is a high-ownership high-urgency early-stage engineering role where speed autonomy and product thinking matter as much as technical depth.

MUST HAVE SKILLS

• Full-stack or backend-heavy engineering experience
• Strong startup experience at high-hiring-bar companies (e.g. Ramp Scale AI Verkada Palantir)
• Experience shipping production systems end-to-end
• Exposure to LLM systems (RAG agents fine-tuning) strongly preferred
• Ability to work across systems (frontend backend infrastructure)
• Strong CS fundamentals and fast learning ability
