Job Summary
Job Title: RN-Diagnostic Cardiology
Location (On-site Remote or Hybrid): Detroit MI (onsite)
Contract Duration: Contract until 07/27/2026
Work Hours: 730-1600 or 8-1630
Total Weekly Hours: 40
Duties: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment planning implementation and evaluation to provide delegate supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Skills: Required Skills & Experience:-Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned. -Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. -Ability to effectively communicate with patients families and hospital Skills & Experience:-N/A
Education: Required Education: -Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Preferred Education: -Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN). Required Certification & Licensure: -Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. -BLS Preferred Certification & Licensure: -N/A
Schedule Notes: Performing cardiac stress tests in Cardio Non-invasive lab REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years cardiology experience with experience interpreting rhythms BLS & ACLS certifications current active MI RN license. Preferred: Experience with cardiac testing Expect to complete 4-8 stress tests per shift. Cannot guarantee block scheduling but the unit does their best to accommodate requests.
