Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Circulator RN to provide leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality compassionate patient care within the surgical setting.
The RN will utilize the nursing process-assessment planning implementation and evaluation-to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role involves collaboration with the surgical team effective communication with patients and families and ensuring adherence to clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and deliver patient care in the Operating Room setting
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Implement delegate and supervise nursing care activities
Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes
Communicate effectively with patients families and interdisciplinary teams
Document patient care accurately and timely
Identify and resolve variances from patient care goals
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Required Skills & Experience
Strong clinical knowledge in perioperative/OR nursing
Ability to develop and implement effective care plans
Experience performing a wide range of nursing duties in surgical settings
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Education Requirements
Required: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications & Licensure
Active RN License (Michigan State Board of Nursing)
BLS Certification (Required)
Schedule Details
Combination of shifts:
(2) 8-hour shifts
(2) 12-hour shifts
Weekend Requirements:
(1) 12-hour weekend shift every 5 6 weeks
(1) 8-hour weekend on-call every 2 months
Opportunity to pick up additional shifts
