Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Circulator RN to provide leadership in coordinating and delivering high-quality compassionate patient care within the surgical setting.
The RN will utilize the nursing process-assessment planning implementation and evaluation-to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role involves collaboration with the surgical team effective communication with patients and families and ensuring adherence to clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities - Coordinate and deliver patient care in the Operating Room setting
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Implement delegate and supervise nursing care activities
- Monitor patient progress and evaluate outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients families and interdisciplinary teams
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Identify and resolve variances from patient care goals
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Required Skills & Experience - Strong clinical knowledge in perioperative/OR nursing
- Ability to develop and implement effective care plans
- Experience performing a wide range of nursing duties in surgical settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Education Requirements - Required: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Certifications & Licensure - Active RN License (Michigan State Board of Nursing)
- BLS Certification (Required)
Schedule Details - Combination of shifts:
- (2) 8-hour shifts
- (2) 12-hour shifts
- Weekend Requirements:
- (1) 12-hour weekend shift every 5 6 weeks
- (1) 8-hour weekend on-call every 2 months
- Opportunity to pick up additional shifts
