Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II (Cath/EP Lab)
Location: Grand Blanc MI 48439
Contract: 13 weeks (extension possible)
Full-time weekdays (6:30 AM 5:00 PM)
4 shifts per week (one variable weekday off)
On-call rotation includes:
- 1 weekend per month
- 4 weeknights per month
No regular weekend shifts outside call
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Tech II with strong scrub experience in both Cath and Electrophysiology (EP) procedures. This role involves supporting cardiovascular interventions in a fast-paced clinical environment while working closely with physicians and the care team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist and scrub in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
- Support peripheral vascular structural heart and EP studies/ablations
- Maintain sterile field and prepare procedure rooms and equipment
- Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to clinical changes
- Assist in emergency situations following ACLS protocols
- Support device-based procedures such as stents atherectomy and EP implants
- Document procedural data using hemodynamic monitoring systems (Merge Hemo preferred)
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe and effective patient care
- 1 2 years of Cath Lab or EP Lab experience
- Strong scrub experience in cardiovascular procedures
- BLS and ACLS required
- RCIS or RCES preferred
- ARRT with Cath Lab experience also accepted
- Familiarity with hemodynamic systems (Merge Hemo)
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy ECG interpretation and pharmacology
- Ability to work effectively in high-acuity environments
- Confident and experienced Cath/EP scrub tech
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling complex cardiac cases in a team setting
