- Diagnose and treat individuals with conditions that limit their ability to move.
- Develop and implement physical therapy treatment plans to alleviate pain and improve physical function.
- Collaborate with patients families and healthcare teams to provide optimal care.
- Utilize flexibility creativity and problem-solving skills to tailor treatment for each patient/resident.
- Assist patients/residents with lifting and transferring as needed.
- Remain physically active often being on your feet throughout the workday.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for patient/resident evaluations and progress.
- Educate patients/residents and their families about treatment plans and at-home exercises.
- Monitor and record therapeutic progress making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Adhere to departmental guidelines regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
- Meet all state licensure requirements and maintain necessary certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS).
