Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable Production Operator to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for operating equipment maintaining product quality and ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Follow all safety procedures SOPs and production guidelines
Operate monitor and adjust production equipment to meet quality standards
Set up and maintain machinery including coating winding and finishing equipment
Inspect and prepare products in accordance with specifications
Thread and splice materials and handle production materials as needed
Package finished products and build boxes for shipment
Track and record production data and material usage (manual and electronic systems)
Clean and maintain equipment printers and work areas
Ensure tools materials and supplies are available for production needs
Communicate effectively with team members to maintain workflow and efficiency
Identify and properly label hazardous materials for disposal
Participate in safety quality and continuous improvement initiatives (lean waste reduction)
Assist with training and support team development efforts
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Basic reading writing and math skills
Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
Ability to operate machinery and use computer systems for data entry
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to read and follow SOPs instructions and labels
Work Environment / Additional Details
2nd shift schedule: 2:45 PM 1:15 AM
$0.75/hr shift differential applied to hours worked on 2nd shift
42 hours per week
30-minute lunch break
Overtime may be required based on production needs
