Position Summary:

We are seeking Production Workers to support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment.
This role involves operating equipment handling materials and ensuring product quality through inspection and cleaning processes.
The ideal candidate is reliable mechanically inclined and comfortable working in a team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate production equipment and assist with product cleaning processes
Load materials onto machinery (e.g. reroller) and place finished rolls onto designated racks
Inspect materials and perform quality checks to ensure product standards are met
Clean film/material by identifying defects using handheld tools and splicing as needed
Monitor equipment performance and assist with troubleshooting issues
Maintain clean and organized work areas using 5S principles
Support inventory handling of raw materials finished goods and scrap
Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts
Follow all safety guidelines and properly wear required PPE
Assist with general plant operations as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED OR 2 3 years of manufacturing experience
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
Ability to follow detailed procedures with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a manufacturing or production setting
Familiarity with industrial safety programs
Basic computer skills (e.g. Word Excel)
Exposure to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) or continuous improvement processes
Understanding of quality standards and specifications

Physical & Work Environment:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending twisting lifting and climbing stairs.
Comfortable working in hot and cold industrial environments
Exposure to manufacturing materials and equipment
Must be able to wear required PPE at all times

Additional Details:

Entry-level candidates including recent high school graduates are encouraged to apply
Temporary role with potential for long-term opportunity based on performance
Overtime may be required to meet production needs
Duties primarily include reroller loading film cleaning and material handling (no inventory transactions required)
