Summary:
We are seeking a Production Operator to support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for operating equipment following standard operating procedures maintaining product quality and supporting overall safety and efficiency on the production floor.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Follow established procedures checklists and safety protocols
Operate production equipment efficiently and safely
Inspect and prepare products in accordance with SOPs
Thread and splice new material onto old material as needed
Package slit materials and handle production materials properly
Set up and adjust equipment including coaters winding and finishing equipment
Monitor equipment and production schedules to ensure efficient completion of work
Record production activity and raw material usage manually and electronically
Build boxes and ensure materials are packaged properly
Clean and maintain printers machinery equipment and work areas
Track tools equipment and supplies to ensure production readiness
Communicate effectively with team members to maintain quality safety and operational efficiency
Identify and label hazardous waste materials for proper disposal
Recommend process improvements to enhance quality service and efficiency
Participate in safety quality lean and waste-reduction initiatives
Support training and ongoing self-development activities
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills required
Previous manufacturing or production environment experience preferred
Manual dexterity to operate machinery and computer systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to read and follow SOPs labels and work instructions
Ability to use computers and internal software systems for data entry
Strong attention to safety quality and environmental practices
Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills required

Work Environment / Additional Details
1st shift hours: 4:45 AM 3:15 PM
30-minute lunch
42 regular hours per week
Overtime may be required based on business needs.
