Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Plan and lead R&D programs; recommend technological applications aligned with corporate objectives

• Drive process improvements to optimize product performance cost and schedule

• Apply advanced theories and emerging technologies with a high degree of innovation and technical expertise

• Develop and champion new ideas concepts and engineering principles

• Operate with significant independence setting objectives and determining approaches for critical assignments

• Serve as a recognized subject matter expert providing guidance to senior and executive leadership internally and externally

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 15 years of progressively responsible engineering experience in a specific technical discipline

• Advanced degree credit may be applied toward experience:

  • Masters degree: up to 2 years

  • PhD: up to 4 years (in a relevant field)

• Requires approval by Engineering PRB including business justification

• Demonstrated high level of technical expertise and innovation appropriate for senior-level engineering roles

• Ability to influence strategic direction and contribute to high-impact technical decisions

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Engineering or a related field
