Weekend - Night Shift: 06:00 PM to 06:30 AM
Summary
The Facilities Maintenance Technician / Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by performing preventive maintenance troubleshooting equipment issues and ensuring optimal performance of production systems. This role operates in a cGMP-regulated cleanroom environment and requires adherence to safety and quality standards while contributing to continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance activities across production equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical pneumatic and electrical issues in production
- Conduct tooling changes machine setups and in-process adjustments
- Rebuild calibrate and configure sealing components and control systems
- Document machine downtime repairs and process control details accurately
- Troubleshoot HVAC systems boilers generators and electrical systems
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Test equipment to ensure performance and efficiency standards are met
- Maintain repair and rebuild production machinery and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and cGMP requirements
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing production operations or lab environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical electrical and pneumatic systems
- Knowledge of industrial process controls (PLCs relays valves solenoids temperature controllers)
- Understanding of cGMP and/or Lean manufacturing environments
- Ability to work in a cleanroom setting with strict gowning and PPE requirements
- Physical ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and chemical hygiene.
