Job Summary
Position: CAD Drafter
Location: Billings MT
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)
Overview:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Drafter to support ongoing work at a refinery in Billings MT. This role involves assisting the design team with drafting updates document control support and general AutoCAD work. The contract is expected to run for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incorporate redline markups from Design Technicians into AutoCAD drawings
- Process redlines from Management of Change (MOC) documents to support Document Control
- Provide general AutoCAD drafting support for the design team
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of drafting experience
- Working knowledge of drafting standards methods and best practices
- Ability to work safely in both office and refinery environments
- Willingness and ability to perform field walkdowns
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical Skills:
Required:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (or equivalent drafting software)
- Basic computer skills
- Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
Preferred:
- Experience with Falcon
- Familiarity with SAP
Experience:
Required:
- Prior experience in a similar drafting role
Preferred:
- Experience in refining petrochemical or related industrial environments
